Why We Do What We Do
We have had several inquiries whether we donate any of our profit to charity, especially for the breast cancer bands we sell. What I have told everyone is we are a "for profit" company, but we do support local charities and non-profit groups. We also help my mother who is a breast cancer survivor and in a nursing home. As most of you know, nursing homes are very expensive. She has had to "spend down" her assets to qualify for Medicaid, so she has less than $1000 left to her name, and gets $30 per month as an allowance. Needless to say her expenses are more than $30, so part of our profits, including the pink breast cancer bracelets, go to help her each month.
