New Camo Support Our Troops Bracelets

We have a new "Support Our Troops" camoflauge rubber bracelet. They are really nice and an excellent way to show your support for our awesome troops. It seems to me that we are not hearing as much news coming from Iraq and it's easy to forget what these courageous men and women are doing there. Please remember them in your prayers. That is the best way to show your support. We will have these available soon on the website. If you do not see them listed yet, please inquire with the quantity you need.

Business Thoughts

I'm sure many of you are new to blogging, but this is an excellent way to communicate with an online audience. One particular blog I came across was Todd Storch's Business Thoughts. Todd has a variety of topics, but there is always something of interest. Whether it's how to improve your company's customer service, learning about the latest technology or, discovering the newest internet tools, you will learn something of value. You will even see a few posts about custom "live strong" bands. You can view his site here: http://www.ktoddstorch.com/

iPod Mini Rocks

Well, this really doesn't pertain to our site, but I wanted to mention it anyway. We just bought an iPod mini this week for my daughter's twelfth birthday (and for my wife to take to the Y until she gets her own). It is really cool and very easy to work with. iTunes, the Apple Media Player, and iPod work great together. You put your CD in your computer and within a few minutes you can have it on your iPod to take with you on the go. Highly recommend!

You Want to Buy Rubber Bracelets but...

Hello All. Some of you have probably thought about buying custom rubber bracelets, but you wonder if you can trust a company that the only thing you know about them is they have a web site. You might appreciate the following comments from one of our customers.

A Customer Speaks
The Tsunami of 2004 tragically altered the lives of many people of
many lands. As the world reacted to the horrors of this tragedy, our school
wanted to contribute and support the recovery process. We not only wanted
to send money, but also the message of "Hope" to everyone who had endured so
much pain. While surfing the net, looking for a way to meet our goals, I
entered the site of Rubber-bracelets.com and found the answer, a business
partner and a friendship in a remarkable man, Tony Green. Tony transformed
a good idea into a great reality in 5 weeks. He worked endless hours
breaking down the challenges of design, finances and shipping. He has
continued to support us after our first delivery sold out in 2 days! We are
well on our way to supporting the reconstruction of a school. We thank Tony
and his company for listening to our thoughts and taking them to fruition.
Bless you Tony. Susan Donovan-Gorbutt Bermuda

Susan, many thanks for your testimony. TG

Why We Do What We Do

We have had several inquiries whether we donate any of our profit to charity, especially for the breast cancer bands we sell. What I have told everyone is we are a "for profit" company, but we do support local charities and non-profit groups. We also help my mother who is a breast cancer survivor and in a nursing home. As most of you know, nursing homes are very expensive. She has had to "spend down" her assets to qualify for Medicaid, so she has less than $1000 left to her name, and gets $30 per month as an allowance. Needless to say her expenses are more than $30, so part of our profits, including the pink breast cancer bracelets, go to help her each month. We also sponsor a child that was affected by the tsunami through World Vision International. You can read more about this at www.rubber-bracelets.com/support.htm

Rubber-Bracelets.com In The Bermuda Royal Gazette

www.Rubber-Bracelets.com
was recognized on the front page of Bermuda's local newspaper, The Royal Gazette, for helping the Bermuda High School for Girls with a Tsunami Relief Silicone Band. The band is called the "Band of Hope" as it has the word "Hope" in English as well as five other languages of countries that were affected by the Tsunami. The first order of 2500 sold out in about one week. Way to go Susan and all those who have helped her make this a tremendous success for a great cause.
